(Please tell me if I did the story widget right and save me the embarrassment.)
Gosh-dingy-dangit, you guys. What has this book done to me?
I was wrecked. I caught myself smiling and shifting in my seat from pure delight. Romance drunkennessâwhat it does to people. Goodness me.
I-
I might need a second to process. Varying emotions and all.
*turns on Wes & Liz’s soundtrack*
Also, this is the first book I tracked my progress with on Goodreads, and believe me, I felt like a granny, clicking and pressingâ”Why did the button turn yellow?”âas I was. If some member clicked on my profile and saw how weird my reading activity looked for that book…I wouldn’t know either way, so it doesn’t matter.
The question mark in the title is because I’m not settled on if I’ll make a review, so wait and see, my patient readers. Wait and see.
Shoo! Off you go.
Wes and his You Belong With Me vibes. âð (“So what if it’s popular? It matches!” -me explaining to my diehard swiftie friend, who thinks only liking Taylorâs well-known songs makes you fAkE ((but Iâm one to talkâI got the Fearless lyrics wrong after claiming it was my favorite song, so ÂŊ\_(ã)_/ÂŊ)))
YAY! I’m so glad you liked BTTM!
Also…I used to sorta understand the whole “liking the popular songs mean you’re a fake fan” thing until I didn’t. Like…the songs got popular for a reason right? And most of my favorite Taylor songs are popular *now* but they weren’t popular when I started liking them. (All Too Well, Cruel Summer, and Lavender Haze to name a few). Like…I liked those songs since the albums came out, before any of them were ever singles or popular!

As am I! ð
Nah, you’re good. Miss Friend’s pulling my leg because at the time I told her I was a swiftie, I barely had knowledge beyond “Shake It Off,” “Lover,” and “I Forgot That You Existed”; plus, you liked them before they got famous, so you have extra points. Definitely agree with you! ð

I am this close to stealing this book from the nearest Half Price and reading it while hiding in an alleyway full of rats and damp newspaper, let me tell you.

I’d pay money to see you getting the feels over a book. (For the recordâif I had money.) Not 100% it’ll keep up with your standards, but I understood the hype. Would I recommend it? Well…

It is quite rare, but I have been known to display the occasional emotion. I don’t think anything can keep up with my standards, because even I don’t know what my standards are. What’s this “Well…”? If I was a suspicious girl I’d think you were enjoying the suspense.

My sarcasm meter ainât meter-ing. I canât tell if youâre joking or not, but an eye for an eye because your inner suspicious girl might just be correct. Perchance.ð By suspense you mean good marketing, of course.

At this point. . .neither can I. Dadgum it, I hate possibly being right. I definitely meant ‘good marketing’, of course. Didn’t I say ‘good marketing’?
